For years I had been searching to get the music of the Queen's Farewell
Stomp by the English musician David Gordon. This piece is a fabulous
jazzy paraphrase of the Queen's Farewell by J. Paisible (1695).
Both pieces have been recorded by the London Oboe Band conducted by Paul
Goodwin on their Playhouse Aires Cd.(harmonia mundi)
I found out Mr Gordon's e-mail, got in contact and convinced him to make a
printed version.
