Subj: [DR-L] Contrabassoon question

I am looking to borrow or rent a contrabassoon for
use in New York City during the period July 29-Aug 2.
I have orchestrated a show having a single
performance Aug 2; one number features contra.
My player is coming from out of town, and doesn't
own the instrument, though he has played one in the past.

An alternative would be obtain an instrument in
Boston (where my player lives).

Any help? Any advice (besides changing the scoring)?
