Dear Mark,
Did you ever get any response to your questions about Brannen shaper tips?
It's taken me this long to find a wrench that would fit my Brannen handle
so that I could get my tip off to look at the bottom. . .which I never
noticed before. . .alas.
The bottom of my shaper tip which I "think" I got around 1962-63 has just
a plain X. (Now that I think about it, I'm not sure WHEN I got it. Did
Gladys Elliot recommend that I get it? Then it was 1962-63. Was it Dick
Killmer? Then it was late 60's. . .
"Short term memory is the first to go. . .". . .sigh. . . I was told at
the time that it was an "extra narrow." (Yes, for ME, that's short term.
. .)
Hope that this is of some help. . .
Good to see you again at UNCG!
