Hi,
I just came back from Frankfurt, Germany and was made to place my knives in
a separate box to check in.
It was infuriating at first once they refused to allow me to check in a
small knife.
Then, since the check in counter had small boxes which I could put my knife
in, it was alright.
Just a reminder for anyone in Germany, put your knives in a separate box for
check in.
The german system's not very efficient and one has to go thru' with about 3
full-body and full-equipment checks before you actually sit on the plane.
