It's been way too long for me to give you any reasonable info, but The University of Wisconsin (home to the Big Ten champion basketball team and next Big Ten championship football team) used to let non-majors participate fully in music groups of all types. At least they did in 1967 when I played oboe while majoring in Geology. Madison is far and away the most beautiful of all the cities mentioned with the most beautiful large campus in the country. Further, as Danny is apparently an Aussie, he'll appreciate the fact that Wisconsin leads the nation in beer consumption! Take that Buckeyes!

Seriously, I would have to second the point of Stephen Secan being a really wonderful oboist here in Columbus.
