Wolf and Moosmann both make modern higher pitched bassoons now. These are
intended for younger students, but I'd count them here. I think they're
usually a fourth or a fifth above normal bassoon.

There's also Wolf's contraforte, though I suppose that's really just an
improved contrabassoon.

Then there are all the sarrusaphones, although these are pretty much
obsolete. (Yale owns one, and a friend of mine once did a recital playing
contrabass sarrusaphone and another band member playing Heckelphone.
Weird.)
