Those of you who are concerned about lead poisoning
from a 3/4" piece of solder coated thin #20 wire
soaking in water for a minute or two, have you looked
at the water piping in your house or apartment?
Is there copper piping with about 50 solder joints
with water present on the solder all of the time?
Plastic piping leaches out many chemicals in time
also, so I wouldn't recommend plastic piping also.
How many people use plastic film containers?
Have you consider that the cane may have grown in lead
contaminated water?
Lead can be hazardous to your health, but you have to
be realistic also.
Sorry to see this subject get into lead poisoning
rather than the use of wires.
