"The Fabulous Fifties"
A Celebration American Music after WW II and the 1950's.
An exploration of American Music from the post-WW II era, comparing the hot
and cool sounds of Elliot Carter, Dizzy Gillespie, Irving Fine and Miles
Davis, as well as comparing the American Experience as related by Duke
Ellington and Samuel Barber. Music of Leonard Bernstein will help to
underscore the creative energy of that time.
