Hooray for me and my interesting thread. :) It occured to me that I just sent
out my question without introducing myself. :) I am new to the list. I
stumbled upon it while looking for bassoons to drool over, and torture myself
because I can't buy them. I am a student at Eastern Washington University
(hence not being able to afford a bassoon....yet) and I'm double majoring in
music ed and bassoon performance. I asked about contra because, I find it
intriging and there is one available for me to learn on. I also have an
amazing instructor to teach me. I am studying under Dr. Lynne
Feller-Marshall, the first women ever to graduate Julliard with her docterate
in bassoon performance. She's amazing. Anyway, Just wanted to introduce
myself. :) Oh yeah, my name is Jacqui. :)
