What is this EH like? I play oboe (with Jimmy in the
Charleston Band), but I've really always wanted to
play English horn. When I can get an EH, I intend to
play my Oboe not that much, to mainly play the EH. I
have a Benwal Oboe (I understand that they were an
importer of other people's french instruments, so the
quality level differs), that plays well enough that my
teacher wouldn't let me look at the Loree's at Nora
Post's 15 years ago when I got it. It has all the
keywork except 3rd octave key. So what I want to know
is more about this EH so I can decide if I would be
happy with it long term, or should wait until I can
afford more. So please tell me more about it.
