Thanks for your E-mail. For starters, let me give you complete listin
g of all the new and used instruments available. Take a look at it and let
me know what further info you may need. If possible, I can send out a coupl

NEW INSTRUMENTS:
Our new Loree oboes are $4,775.00 and $5,775.00 for the new Royale M
odel Loree oboe. They come with the 3rd octave key and in cases with covers
. As with all the new instruments we sell, they will be covered by our two
year warranty that includes crack repairs.
We are pleased to offer the Yamaha line of new oboes. The Model 841 i
s gaining popularity among our major symphony orchestras. The price of this
model is $3.850.00. Their Model 411 and 410 are very fine intermediate obo
es that play very freely with a nice tone and scale. These two models are i
dentical but one is of plastic and the other is made of wood. In plastic, o
ur price is $1,775.00 and, for wood, $1,975.00. They also have this oboe wi
th a plastic top joint and wood for the bottom joint and bell and is $1,875
.00.
We now also offer the Buffet Greenline oboes. These are full conserva
tory instruments with both the 3rd octave and Philadelphia high D keys. The
y are made of a combination of ground Grenadilla wood and plastic that make
s them uncrackable. The price for this new oboe is $4,475.00.
Our new Loree English horns are currently $5,800.00. They have both
the low B resonance and 3rd octave keys and in double cases with covers.
They'll be covered by our two year warranty that includes crack repairs.
Why not consider a new Howarth English horn for a very attractive
price? This is a NEW English horn that is ideal for many players and, esp
ecially,
for school use. It's full conservatory with the A & D keys being plateaus.
This instrument is covered by our two-year warranty and is all plastic to
avoid cracking problems and has the 3rd octave key. $3,900.00

that instrument, your credit card information will be destroyed and no
charges made.

Hi Everyone,
I am in the process of looking for a new (or used oboe). My background
...I have a degree in Instrumental Music Ed. My main instrument was oboe (
I also am proficient on sax, flute and piano). I've been out of school for
20 years (sold my Carbart oboe many years ago). I have concentrated on ot
her areas of music for the past 20 years (private teacher for various instr
uments, accompaning, etc). I now feel a strong yearning to get back to som
e serious oboe playing. I'm gettting requests to play in various groups an
d also in church. The problem...I'm not all that familiar with what's avai
lable. I love Loree, but the cost may be a bit too high (I'm not ruling it
out though). I'm wondering about Yamaha or anything else. I tend to like
a bit darker full sound but am open to trying new things. Any suggestions
would be wonderful. Thanks in advance!
