Mixed. I have one pupil playing on the most fantastic Yamaha, full of
character across the range. But I have tried three rather indifferent ones.
My recommendation would be try as many of them as you can. They are
definitely not all the same.

Subject: [DR-L] Yamaha Bassoons

List,
Considering the amount of popularity the Yamaha oboe has gained in recent
years
(Richard Woodhams, Jeff Rathbun, etc.), I was just wondering if anyone has
had
any positive/negative experiences with the Yamaha bassoons.

Thanks in advance!
