Hello fellow doublereeders,
In many cases in schools nowadays, atleast in our grad program, we are often encouraged to explore alternate options of professional playing, in the way of playing and forming our own chamber groups (i.e. quintets, etc.....as like wizards, borealis Quintet, quartetto Gelatto, etc..).
While I realize this is a hard avenue to pursue and shouldn't be the only avenue for income (duh! :-)) I am curious how to go about doing this on a limited budget (or not budget at all for the start?)

I love chamber music and would love for chamber music to be a significant part of my career, and have had the idea for quite some time to try to form my own "unique" chamber group. Any ideas for how to go about doing this, good instrumental (and unique) combinations, etc...that go along with the forming of such a group are greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Shawn
