We might have noticed if you did it on a Buffet. BTW, recordings have a way
of masking many things, and I am not sure I hear the same differences you
would expect between the different woods on that recording you cite. You do
sound a bit more facile on the instrument you use regularly, which I think I
understand to be the curly maple.
