For those who can see attachments, here is Danzi cane and measurements.
It's a rather wide cane, and thus may be flat unless you make a shorter
reed. I don't know its thickness, but feel it has a thinner gouge.
The cane has no ears, a plus for neat tying. Note my reed- It uses
pisoni tubes shortened to between 42-45 mm. I use a very loose
embouchure, allowing a bigger sound on fairly soft reeds.
