Dear Doublereed-L members-
I'm posting this for my dear friend and colleague Malcolm Smith, who is not on this list. Dr. Smith will be playing a recital entitled "French Music for Oboe and Piano" on Sunday, January 12 at 4pm. This will be held in the Robertson Hall Johnson Room on the Butler University campus in Indianapolis, IN. The program includes works by Paladilhe, Poulenc, Grovlez, and Saint-Saëns. Catherine Bringerud, Butler faculty accompanist will play piano.
Malcolm Smith is Principal Oboist of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and Instructor of Oboe at Butler. You can read a full bio and find directions to our campus at www.butler.edu.
