Alex, I would recommend a fairly new piece, Gernot Wolfgang's Trilogy for ob
or cl, bsn and piano. This is a challenging and exciting three movement
piece that incorporates jazz and Eastern elements. I performed it with
oboe, but read through it with a clarinetist. It is a real audience
pleaser.
