The reed case may be this.

Bassoon 10-Reed Case.
This nicely finished wooden case is black vinyl covered
on the outside and has a velvet lining. Two brass hinges
and a positive latch secure the lid. The gentle padding
on the inside lid prevents the reeds from ratting in the
case. Has 2 air vents and measures 1 3/16" x 4 1/4" x 7 7/8" long.
