I agree that the 601 (all Fox bassoons) is well made, but I have never liked
the type of resonance (lack) it has. Has anyone had any experience with the
Wolf or the high-end Moosman? What is it about the 601 that makes you prefer
it over the 201? If a new Heckel was as easily available and the same price,
how would you advise?
