Although it is true that a new Heckel is around 30K with a wait, you can
find many older, used Heckels for much less. I have a wonderful Heckel 6000
series which I was able to nab for 19,500 and I'm sure there are many other
Heckels out there that are also good horns without having to spend a full
30G's. But I do agree with Herb--Heckel or Fox are the recommended brands.
