Clarinet concerto, op. 80
Written  1902
Duration
Comments  Dedicated to Richard Muhlfeld, but premiered by Charles Draper in 1904. The concerto was written in 1902 but was not published until 1977. An important concerto since no other late romantic work is in the repertoire. First two movements are for Bb Clarinet while the last movement is for the A Clarinet. While the work is highly influenced by Brahms, the Concerto is more original.
