Comments	What is particularly evident in this work is the composer's concern with the values of perception and his interest in scientific data, especially the dimension of fractals, from which to derive new formal ideas. Commissioned by Eduard Brunner (to whom it is dedicated), Walter Grimmer and Massimiliano Damerini, this composition was first performed at La Scala in 1996.
