firstly I beg your pardon for my beeing so late in answering your request.
I live in Rome but, belive me, it is not so easy to get information if you
are not acquainted with specific institutions. I have searched inside the
Istituto Nazionale di
Archeologia e Storia dell'Arte asking for somebody who in the past took
care of the relations with Dottoressa Fiore in the Los Angeles Italian
Consulate.
Finally I have got the right person that will help you in obteining the
fully orchestrated manuscript of "Il Convegno",
duo for clarinets and wind orchestra by Amilcare Ponchielli.
I don't know if you have received the last letter, 3rd of July 2001, that
they send you describing the nessesary condition to obtain the manuscript.
Since it is an unpublished original work they ask simply to sign an
agreement with a non profit Institution of your and their approval, that
will guarantee the explicit quotation of the Istituto Nazionale di
Archeologia e Storia dell'Arte inside any pubblication or advertising
concerning "Il Convegno" di Amilcare Ponchielli.
That is the only formality for receiving a copy free of charge.
