Please forgive my posting in English. I have been trying to get a microfiche,
microfilm or photocopy of the fully orchestrated manuscript of "Il Convegno",
duo for clarinets and wind orchestra by Amilcare Ponchielli for almost a
year. It is in the Alessandro Vesella Collection at the Istituto Nazionale di
Archeologia e Storia dell'Arte, at P.azza Venezia, ROMA.

According to the Italian National Library Service - SBN Servizio Bibliotecario
Nazionale, the manuscript which I wish to obtain has the following notation:

I was receiving assistance at the Italian Consulate in Los Angeles, but my
contact there changed jobs and I fear that I'll have to start all over. Can
anyone on the Clarinet list give me advice of what I might do next to get a
